About additional measures for acceleration of process of the entry of the Republic of Uzbekistan into the World Trade Organization

For the purpose of acceleration of process and ensuring high-quality realization of tasks according to the entry of the Republic of Uzbekistan into the World Trade Organization (further - the WTO):

1. Approve the Interdepartmental commission on work with the World Trade Organization (further - the Commission) in updated structure according to appendix No. 1.

Assign to the Commission (Zh. A. Hodzhayev) the following main objectives:

determination of line item of the Republic of Uzbekistan on access to the market, and also decision making on the foreign trade mode by means of changes of tariff and non-tariff measures in the course of the bilateral and multilateral negotiations with WTO member countries;

consideration of the offers prepared by the Ministry of Justice, the relevant ministries and departments on harmonization of the national legal system with agreements, rules and regulations of the WTO and decision making on their implementation in the national legal system;

material stimulation of heads and ranking officers of the ministries and departments which showed activity and high professionalism in high-quality and timely preparation of materials, and also ensuring effectiveness of negotiations in the course of the entry of the Republic of Uzbekistan into the WTO;

introduction to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan of representations on acceptance of disciplinary actions concerning heads of the ministries and departments, irresponsibly and negligently treated the tasks assigned to them within their participation in process of accession to WTO, including about their compliance of post;

ensuring carrying out by Negotiation group on work with the World Trade Organization (further - negotiation group) bilateral and multilateral negotiations in foreign countries with operational approval of Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
