Requirements to investment precious metals

1. This document determines requirements to investment precious metals - to the affined gold, silver, platinum and palladium in ingots which are acquired by physical persons for private use and are not held for use in the production purposes.

2. Investment precious metals represent measuring or standard ingots which mass is determined according to provisions of national standards of the Russian Federation.

Each ingot of investment precious metal shall be followed by the quality certificate of ingot (the certificate or the passport) which is drawn up according to Item 7 (1) the Operating procedure of the organizations performing refining of precious metals, No. 972 approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of August 17, 1998 "About approval of the Operating procedure of the organizations performing refining of precious metals, and the list of the organizations having the right to perform refining of precious metals", in paper form or in electronic form in the state integrated information system in the field of control of turnover of precious metals, gemstones and products from them at all stages of this turnover.
