1. Approve Regulations on production, quality control, certifications and realization of material for vegetative reproduction of grapes it (is applied).

2. To impose control over the implementation of this resolution on the National agency on safety of foodstuff.

3. This resolution becomes effective in 12 months after its publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.

4. From the effective date this resolution Order of the Government No. 418/2009 on approval of the Regulations on production, certification, control and realization of material for reproduction of grapes and grape landing material (2009, Art. No. 112-114, 480), with subsequent changes, to declare the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova invalid.

5. Material for reproduction of the grapes and grape landing material made according to requirements of the Order of the Government No. 418/2009, to continue to sell before exhaustion of inventories provided that all amount of the corresponding material will be declared to the National agency on safety of foodstuff within 60 days from the date of publication of this resolution in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.

Chapter I. Scope and general terms

1. The regulations on production, quality control, certification and realization of material for vegetative reproduction of grapes (further - the Provision) establish the main requirements concerning placement in the market, the conditions and production phases, aspects connected with official control, marking and realization of material for vegetative reproduction of grapes.

2. This Provision is applied to the material for vegetative reproduction of grapes placed in the market of the Republic of Moldova which falls under tariff line items 0602 10 100 and 0602 20 100 Combined the commodity nomenclature approved by the Law No. 172/2014.

3. Taking into account features of trade exchanges export of material for vegetative reproduction of grapes will be performed according to the requirements of the country of destination specified in the agreement.

4. For reproduction, certification and cultivation grades of grapes and, depending on circumstances, the clones registered in the Catalogue of plant varieties and in the General catalog of grades of grapes of the European Union (The Common Catalogue of Varieties of Vine) are allowed.

5. Registration of grades or, depending on circumstances, grapes clones in the Catalogue of plant varieties of the Republic of Moldova is performed according to the Regulations regulations on testing and entering of grades into the Catalogue of plant varieties approved by the Order of the Government No. 43/2013.

6. In order to avoid risks for health of the person and the environment genetically modified grapes grades in value of the Law No. 152/2022 on regulation and control of genetically modified organisms are not allowed for reproduction, certification and cultivation.

7. Grades of grapes and, depending on circumstances, the clones registered in the Catalogue of plant varieties of the Republic of Moldova are made and supported by conservative selection under direct responsibility of the selector or sokhranitel.

Conservative selection is controlled based on the records made by the selector or the holder including by request of samples.
