Regulations on the public high schools in Turkmenistan

1. This Provision regulates activities of all types of the public high schools (further hereinafter are referred to as schools) entering the state system of life-long education and Turkmenistan and providing implementation of the single national program of secondary education. Training at schools for children of citizens of Turkmenistan is free and public.

2. Schools perform the activities on the basis of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, the Law of Turkmenistan "About education in Turkmenistan", acts of Majlis of Turkmenistan and the President of Turkmenistan, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, regulating documents of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and this provision.

3. The main tasks of schools are:

provision to all children of Turkmenistan, irrespective of their floor and, ethnic origin, from the moment of achievement of 7-year age of the equal rights and opportunities for timely receipt of compulsory secondary education guaranteed by the state by them by them;

ensuring practical realization of program installations of the President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Turkmenbasha about improvement of quality and contents of teaching and educational process in educational institutions;
