being guided by the Treaty of friendship, cooperation and mutual aid between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan of May 25, 1992, the Contract between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan on military cooperation of March 28, 1994 and the Agreement on the principles and procedure for accomplishment of military transportations of May 15, 1992,

agreed as follows;

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement stated below terms mean:

1. "Military forming" - connections, parts, organizations and the companies of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. "Persons which are part of military forming":

a) the military personnel serving as a part of military forming;

b) the civil personnel working in military forming;

c) the citizens of the Russian Federation and citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan sent to military forming.

3. "Members of families of persons which are part of military forming" spouses, children, parents, and also other persons jointly living with persons which are part of military forming, being in their dependence.

4. "Military loads" - all types of arms, ammunition, military equipment and other material means which are in use of military forming.

5. "Military team" - the group of the servicemen more than two people following to the destination with organic military property (including with weapon and ammunition) or without it.

6. "Military echelon" - the military forming organized for transportation in one train or its part (division or military team which transportation requires at least one car).
