About social security of the military personnel and members of their families

This Law establishes legal, economic and organizational statuses of provision of pensions and social security of the military personnel of the Republic of Armenia and members of their families.

SECTION I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1. Legislation on social security of the military personnel and members of their families

Questions of social security of the military personnel and members of their families are regulated by this Law, others legislative and bylaws of the Republic of Armenia.

Article 2. Determination of the concept "serviceman"

Under this Law the systems of the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of homeland security, Management serving ordinary and command structure on emergency situations of the Republic of Armenia are considered as the military personnel (further - the relevant ministries, management).

Article 3. Persons equated to the military personnel

The provisions of this Law relating to the military personnel who became disabled people for the reasons specified in Article 13, and also to families of the died (died) military personnel, extend also:

a) on the persons liable for call-up called on training sessions;

b) on the rebels who were involved in fighting, in case of protection of the Republic of Armenia, and persons equated to them according to the procedure, established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia;

c) on the specialists sent to zone of military action with fighting or special task;
