The governments of state members of custom union within Eurasian economic community (further - custom union) which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties for the purpose of ensuring protection of customs area of custom union from delivery and spread of infectious and mass noninfectious diseases (poisonings) among the population, products (goods) which are not conforming to sanitary and epidemiologic and hygienic requirements based on the Agreement on carrying out coordinated policy in the field of technical regulation, sanitary and phytosanitary measures of January 25, 2008, recognizing feasibility of carrying out coordinated policy in the field of ensuring sanitary and epidemiologic wellbeing of the population, in view of the International medical and sanitary rules (2005), the Agreement on technical barriers in trade and Agreements on application of sanitary and phytosanitary measures of the World Trade Organization, the multilateral trade negotiations accepted following the results of the Uruguayan round on April 15, 1994 to Marrakech, the Agreement on cooperation in the field of sanitary protection of the territories of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States of May 31, 2001, the Agreement on order of interaction in case of hygienic assessment of potentially dangerous products imported to the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States of April 16, 2004 agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the following basic concepts are used:
