expressing intention to continue realization of provisions of the Agreement on uniform conditions of transit through the territories of the State Parties of the Customs union of January 22, 1998 and the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on measures for development of trade and economic cooperation of March 23, 2007,

for the purpose of simplification of movement of goods and vehicles in the territory of the Union State, the organization of single approaches in monitoring procedure behind implementation of the international motor transportations on the territory of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the following terms are used:

"transport (automobile) control" - control of implementation of the international motor transportations;

"bodies of transport (automobile) control" - the competent authorities authorized on implementation of transport (automobile) control in the territory of the state of the Party;

"checkpoint" - the stationary or mobile unit equipped according to requirements of the legislation of the state of the Party in which transport (automobile) control is exercised;

"carrier" - the legal entity or physical person using the vehicle belonging to it on the property right or other legal cause for the international motor transportation of loads and (or) passengers;
