About approval of procedure for consideration of the petition for provision of the status of the refugee

Due to the application of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About the status of refugees and displaced persons (persons moved within the country)" and for the purpose of providing procedure for consideration of the petition for provision of the status of the refugee in the Azerbaijan Republic I decide:

1. Approve "Procedure for consideration of the petition for provision of the status of the refugee" it (is applied).

2. This Decree becomes effective from the date of signing.

Procedure for consideration of the petition for provision of the status of the refugee

This procedure is prepared according to the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About the status of refugees and displaced persons (persons moved within the country)", the Convention of the United Nations of 1951 on the status of refugees, its protocol of 1967, the Presidential decree of the Azerbaijan Republic of July 8, 1999 No. 148, and also other legal acts of the Azerbaijan Republic and establishes procedure for consideration of the petition for provision of the status of the refugee in the Azerbaijan Republic.
