About approval of the Regulations on the procedure of consular legalization of documents

Based on article 9 of the Convention canceling the requirement of the legalization of foreign official documents accepted in the Hague on October 5, 1961 and for the purpose of accomplishment of article 3 of the Law on accession to the Convention canceling the requirement of legalization of foreign official documents No. 42-XVI of March 2, 2006 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2006, Art. No. 47-50, 206), the Government DECIDES:

1. Approve Regulations on the procedure of consular legalization of documents it (is applied).

2. To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to inform competent authorities of foreign countries on approval of the Regulations on the procedure of consular legalization of documents.

3. To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other public bodies to take necessary measures for implementation of the specified Provision.

4. The subitem 8 of Item 8 of appendix No. 1 to the Order of the Government No. 630 of August 22, 2011. "About approval of the Regulations on the organization and functioning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, structure and extreme number of its central office" (2011, 700) to state the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova to Art. No. 139-145, in the following edition:

"accepts obligatory rules about procedure for provision of services of central office by the internal divisions or structures subordinated to the ministry according to the law, and also resolves the issues connected with the procedure of legalization of documents, according to the procedure, established by the Government".

5. This resolution becomes effective on July 1, 2013.
