About measures for further implementation and development of modern information and communication technologies

1. Determine the main objectives of further implementation and development of information and communication technologies:

ensuring forming of the National information system on the basis of step-by-step integration of information systems of state bodies, and also legal entities and physical persons;

creation of information systems of automation of activities of the state bodies allowing to increase efficiency and quality of accomplishment of the functions by them;

extension of the list and improvement of quality of the interactive state services provided by state bodies to subjects of entrepreneurship and the population, ensuring broad access to the appropriate information resources including in the rural zone;

enhancement of system of regulation in the field of information and communication technologies taking into account condition of development of information resources, technologies and systems, including systems of ensuring information security;

ensuring information security of the National information system, protection of its information systems and resources.

2. Approve:

The program of further implementation and development of information and communication technologies in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2012 - 2014 (further - the Program), according to appendix No. 1;
