About introduction of amendments to some acts of the Government of the Russian Federation

1. Approve the enclosed changes which are made to acts of the Government of the Russian Federation.

2. Determine that:

a) the forms of the passport of the citizen of the Russian Federation proving the identity of the citizen of the Russian Federation outside the territory of the Russian Federation including containing the electronic medium of information, made before entry into force of this resolution are used for execution of passports of the citizens of the Russian Federation proving the identity of the citizen of the Russian Federation outside the territory of the Russian Federation, including containing the electronic medium of information to their expenditure;

b) the passports of the citizen of the Russian Federation proving the identity of the citizen of the Russian Federation outside the territory of the Russian Federation, including containing the electronic medium of information, which are drawn up on the forms specified in the subitem "an" of this Item are valid before the expiration of their action.

Changes which are made to acts of the Government of the Russian Federation

1. In paragraph nine of Item 9 of appendix No. 5 to the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of March 14, 1997 No. 298 "About approval of samples and descriptions of forms of the main identity documents of the citizen of the Russian Federation outside the Russian Federation" (The Russian Federation Code, 1997, No. 12, Art. 1435; 2011, No. 42, of the Art. 5922) of the word "the nearest division of police" shall be replaced with words "division of the Federal Migration Service".
