About measures for providing emergency rule

For the purpose of enhancement of coordination of actions of forces and means of the state bodies and other organizations providing emergency rule in case of its introduction I decide:

1. Approve the enclosed Regulations on commandant's office of the territory on which state of emergency is imposed.

2. This Decree becomes effective from the date of its official publication.

Regulations on commandant's office of the territory on which state of emergency is imposed

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. This Provision determines procedure for the organization of activities of commandant's office of the territory on which state of emergency is imposed (further - commandant's office).

2. The commandant's office is the working body formed for ensuring implementation of powers of the commandant of the territory in which state of emergency is imposed (further - the commandant).

3. The management of commandant's office, and also joint operational staff in its structure is performed by the commandant.

4. If the presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus about introduction of emergency state provides complete or partial suspension in the territory in which state of emergency, powers of state bodies is imposed, the commandant's office provides realization of these powers regarding the organization of elimination of the circumstances which formed the basis for introduction of emergency state.
