About approval of the Development program of state language of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2012 - 2016

According to article 17 of the Constitutional law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan" and for the purpose of comprehensive implementation of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About state language of the Republic of Tajikistan" the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decides:

1. Approve the Development program of state language of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2012-2016 and the Actions plan on its realization it (is applied).

2. Establish Committee on language and terminology under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan the coordinator on program implementation of development of state language of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2012 - 2016.

3. To provide to the ministries and departments, the organizations and organizations within budgetary and own special funds implementation of actions of the Development program of state language of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2012 - 2016.

4. To the ministries, departments and local executive bodies of the government of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, areas to the city of Dushanbe, cities and areas of republican subordination of the republic:

- take additional measures for accomplishment of actions of this Program due to economy of other account Items and special means of accounts of means of free remaining balance and overfulfillment of the income of the local budget, with attraction of financial resources of non-state organizations of the organization and sponsors;

- provide program implementation of development of state language of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2012 - 2016 and annually no later than May 1 to provide the detailed information in the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The development program of state language of the Republic of Tajikistan (further - the Program) is constituted according to the Actions plan (of October 20, 2010) on accomplishment of the instructions and orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomalii Rahmon stated at meeting in honor of Day of state language of the Republic of Tajikistan (on October 5, 2010).

Tajik is in the status of state language of the Republic of Tajikistan and was created till our time on the basis of number of written traditions. The new period of history of Tajik began in the VIII-IX centuries of our era and played important role in development of literary regulations of this language. At the beginning of the specified period Tajik (Persian or Persian Dari) language during era Samanidov acquired the status of state and gained the further development in all literary styles. In the period of Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan Tajik as state began to function freely in political and social, economic and cultural spheres of life of the country again.
