The purpose of this Law is regulation of the relations in the field of exchange of credit information.
The legislation on exchange of credit information consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.
If the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes other rules, than those which are stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Uzbekistan about exchange of credit information then are applied rules of the international treaty.
In this Law the following basic concepts are applied:
credit deal - the agreement of the credit, loan, leasing, factoring, insurance and other agreements providing on credit money and other property including in the form of advance payment (receipt of advance payment), delay or payment by installments of payment for goods, works and services;
exchange of credit information - interaction of credit bureau, the subject, supplier and user of credit information on collection, processing, the analysis, storage, provision, use and protection of credit information for the purpose of forming of credit history and provision of the credit report;
the subject of credit information - the legal entity or physical person acting respectively as the borrower (debtor), the leasing recipient, the guarantor, the guarantor, the pledger and the insurer on credit deal and also the physical person who submitted the application for entering of data into credit bureaus for prohibition on the conclusion with it credit deal or removal of such prohibition
;the supplier of credit information - the legal entity or physical person providing to credit bureau credit information;
