About realization of practical measures in areas (cities) selected for the accelerated complex development of regions of the republic

For the purpose of implementation of the main objectives determined in the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 20, 2024 No. UP-223 "About Measures for Implementation of New System of Ensuring High Economic Growth and Employment of the Population in Regions, and also to Increase in Role and Responsibility of Local Khokimiyats in This Direction" I decide:

I. Purposes

1. Determine main objectives of the accelerated complex development of regions of the republic with acceptance in 16 regions (cities) of measures on:

(a) to providing strong growth of industrial output on average for 7-8 percent, market services - for 15 - 17 percent, agricultural production - for 4-5 percent;

(b) to reducing the level of unemployment for 4-5 percent, poverty level - for 5-6 percent with transformation of Kungradsky, Asakinsky, Gallyaaralsky, Denausky districts and the city of Margilan into the territories, free from unemployment and poverty;

(c) to creation in their centers of favorable conditions for accommodation and business activity of the population.

II. Measures for the accelerated complex development of the territories

Take into consideration that programs of the accelerated complex development of areas (cities) are developed (further - the Program) within which of the Government budget funds in the amount of 1 trillion sum are allocated for financing of the social and infrastructure projects giving impulse to the high economic growth of areas (cities).

At the same time to provide implementation of the following projects on:

(a) to creation of conditions for development of industry and sphere of agricultural industry;

(b) to development of infrastructure, implementation of the "green" principles and approaches, and also digitalization;
